Website Analytics, Visitor Tracking, and Sales Lead Capture

To operate our website, understand how visitors discover and use it, and follow up promptly with potential customers, we collect information about visits to our marketing site and quote/enrollment forms. This is described separately here so it is clearly disclosed.

What We Collect Automatically

  • IP address and approximate geolocation (city, region, country, timezone) derived from the IP
  • Internet service provider, organization, and network (ASN) associated with the IP, which often identifies a school district or company network
  • Browser, operating system, device type, language, screen and viewport size, and similar device characteristics
  • Pages visited, referring URL, time on page, and basic interaction events
  • Marketing attribution parameters in the URL (such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) and advertising click identifiers (such as gclid, fbclid, li_fat_id, msclkid, ttclid, twclid, epik)
  • A session identifier stored in your browser to correlate events from the same visit

Partial Form Information

When you interact with our quote, contact, or enrollment forms, we may capture the values you enter into fields (such as name, email, phone, role, school or district, device count, and message) at the point you move away from a field, even if you do not complete or submit the form. This helps us follow up if a submission fails or you are interrupted before sending. Please do not enter information you do not want us to receive.

Sales Lead Alerts

When a visitor shows clear buying intent on our forms, our sales team may receive an internal email alert containing the information described above so a representative can reach out. These alerts are sent only to authorized KBS Coverage personnel and are used solely for sales follow-up and customer service.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to:

  • Maintain user sessions
  • Improve functionality
  • Persist marketing attribution and click identifiers across pages in your visit
  • Analyze usage patterns
  • Enhance security

Users may modify browser settings to manage cookie preferences, clear local storage, or block scripts. Doing so may limit certain features of the Services. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we have collected about you, or ask us to stop using it for sales follow-up, by emailing support@kbscoverage.com.
